Thank you for your interest in volunteering and supporting our mission at Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville! We deeply appreciate the time and talent our volunteers dedicate, allowing us to serve the families and children who need us most. The joy our volunteers bring truly makes our House a home away-from-home for our families. Whether you’re seeking group or individual volunteer opportunities, we warmly invite you to join us at our House.
Volunteers support the staff with daily activities. Tasks might include sorting donations, restocking supplies, performing light housekeeping and offering warm hospitality.

Volunteer Commitment:
This is a great opportunity for dedicated individuals looking to make a long-term impact in the lives of families with critically ill children.
If you are a current volunteer or have an immediate need, please reach out to Harriet Tambini at htambini@ronaldmcdonaldhousejax.org.
* We are unable to accept court mandated volunteers.
When you volunteer with our Meals That Heal program, you’re doing more than cooking dinner — you’re giving families the nourishment, comfort and connection they need during one of the hardest times of their lives. A warm meal means parents can take care of themselves so they can be strong for their child. It eases financial stress, takes away one more worry and creates space for families to share a moment of community with others walking a similar journey.
Dinner is served nightly from 5–6 p.m. at the House and 5:30–6:30 p.m. at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Volunteer groups of up to eight people are invited to prepare meals in our House kitchen. Groups typically arrive between 1–2 p.m. for a brief tour before preparing the meal. Our Chef, Stephanie Smith, will guide you in menu planning to ensure meals are both nourishing and comforting for our families.
By giving your time and care, you’re not just filling plates—you’re filling hearts. Sign up today and be part of bringing comfort and community to families when they need it most.
Individuals interested in serving meals at Wolfson Children’s Hospital can apply here.
Corporate, educational, and community groups are all welcome to volunteer as one of our Community Champions Volunteer Groups.
Groups can assist with a variety of projects around the House, including donation sorting, light housekeeping, landscaping and offering compassionate hospitality.
Groups of up to 15 volunteers are invited to join us at the House.
